Barlow Tyrie Product Warranty Barlow Tyrie warrants their teakwood outdoor furnishings are fit for their intended reasonable use for a period of five years for residential use (three years for commercial use) from purchase invoice date and when supplied are free from defective materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to cracks which may appear when exposed to the elements and are considered entirely natural for teakwood outdoor furniture, damage resulting from tampering, misuse, accident, alteration, vandalism, abuse or normal wear. Products believed to be faulty workmanship of materials should be reported to Barlow Tyrie as soon as possible. If applicable, photographic proof of claim may be requested for examination or determination. Any faults found on inspection and covered by this warranty will be rectified by the replacement of the faulty part. If deemed necessary for repair, Barlow Tyrie will arrange for the product in question to be returned via their choice of transit and returned free of charge to the customer. No returns are accepted without authorization and will be refused. Barlow Tyrie?s liability in respect to goods supplied by it and not of its manufacture shall be limited to any guarantee or warranty given by the manufacturer of such goods. These items include, but are not limited to, cushions and parasol bases. The unique combination of these characteristics makes teakwood naturally resistant to moisture, rot, warping, shrinking, splintering, insects, fungus, marine borers and termites making it an ideal material for the production of outdoor furniture. Three Birds is committed to providing teakwood outdoor furniture of the highest standard. They accept only Grade A, Plantation Grown Teak Timber from government managed plantations in the production of their furniture. All of the Teakwood used in their products is kiln dried prior to production. Their products are designed using mortise and tenon joinery with locking wood dowels. Where hardware is necessary, it is of the highest quality brass or, where unseen or internal, or where extra strength is needed, stainless steel. While color and grain of every piece of Three Birds furniture might vary, they ensure consistency within the piece by selecting timber of similar color and grain on a piece by piece basis. Their furniture is then hand finished to a smooth, "polished" finish using only fine abrasive materials; no oils or waxes are applied to achieve the finish of Three Birds Teakwood furniture prior to delivery to customers. Three Birds Limited Warranty Three Birds LLC warrants the original consumer purchaser that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years for residential applications (5 years for commercial applications) from the date of original purchase by the consumer customer.. If the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship during this warranty period, Three Birds will repair or replace, at its option, the product part that is in question free of charge.
