Made with square aluminum legs that are coated with steel tubes, making it extremely sturdy and comfortable for your pet. The fabric panel wraps around the steel tubes, and light gray colored PVC chew guards slip over the fabric to protect it from chewing. Cordura is water proof and will puddle if rained on Ballistic Nylon Ballistic nylon is the second most durable fabric available. Similar to Cordura, but it is easier to clean; hair does not adhere to it, and it dries faster. Like Cordura it also puddles when rained on. Vinyl Weave Vinyl weave is a porous, easy to clean, quick drying fabric. It is the least durable fabric available so replacements are more frequent than the other materials. 40 oz. Vinyl 40 oz. vinyl is the most durable fabric available. It is easy to clean with a sponge. Animal shelters report outstanding durability with this material. Additional Product Information: Q. How are Kuranda beds chew-proof? Any place the fabric is in a position to be chewed, it is protected by a poly-resin sleeve. There are no corner gaps to bite. Once in a while a dog will bite through a leg or side piece but it is quite rare. This image shows how the fabric fits into the frame of the bed so your dog cannot revery the fabric. Caution: Fabrics are vulnerable to tearing by persistently scratching or digging dogs. Q. Can dogs dig through the fabric? A determined digger or scratcher can eventually make a hole if he or she works on one spot. Tropitone Limited Warranty When used in a residential setting, Tropitone warrantees its frames for 15 years. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. When used in a commercial setting, Tropitone warrantees its frames for 5 years from the date of purchase. Commercial use is defined as use in a public area. Proof of purchase is required. If your Tropitone frame fails structurally during normal usage, or if the finish peels, cracks, or blisters within fifteen years (5 years for commercial use), Tropitone will repair, refinish, or replace the frame (with same or similar product if discontinued) at no charge. Parts and labor are included for the first 3 years (1st year for commercial use.). Additionally the following 5, 3, and 1 year warranties apply: -For 5 years: Tropitone warrantees its vinyl straps for 5 years from the date of purchase. This applies only to breakage, not color changes. In the unlikely event that a strap breaks or pulls loose, Tropitone will provide a replacement strap at no charge (labor not included.) -For 3 years: Tropitone warrantees its vinyl straps against discoloration for three years from the date of purchase.
