Sunbrella is a soft mildew-resistant material that will retain its strength and color for years. Cushions are available in either boxed with welt or knife-edge style. The unique combination of these characteristics makes teakwood naturally resistant to moisture, rot, warping, shrinking, splintering, insects, fungus, marine borers and termites making it an ideal material for the production of outdoor furniture. Three Birds is committed to providing teakwood outdoor furniture of the highest standard. They accept only Grade A, Plantation Grown Teak Timber from government managed plantations in the production of their furniture. All of the Teakwood used in their products is kiln dried prior to production. The products are designed using mortise and tenon joinery with locking wood dowels. Where hardware is necessary, it is of the highest quality brass or, where unseen or internal, or where extra strength is needed, stainless steel. While color and grain of every piece of Three Birds furniture might vary, we ensure consistency within the piece by selecting timber of similar color and grain on a piece by piece basis. The furniture is then hand finished to a smooth, "polished" finish using only fine abrasive materials; no oils or waxes are applied to achieve the finish of Three Birds Teakwood furniture prior to delivery to customers. Three Birds Limited Warranty Three Birds LLC warrants the original consumer purchaser that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years for residential applications (5 years for commercial applications) from the date of original purchase by the consumer customer.. If the product fails due to defects in material or workmanship during this warranty period, Three Birds will repair or replace, at its option, the product part that is in question free of charge. The word ?defects", as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections, which impair the utility if the product. The warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of furniture and/or furniture components, or the furniture is defective, Three Birds LLC will either provide replacement furniture/parts or otherwise repair the furniture at no cost to the customer. Telescope Casual Furniture Warranty If your Telescope powder coated frame fails structurally during normal usage within 15 years from the date of purchase, Telescope will repair, refinish or replace the frame without charge, parts and labor included. The finish is warranted against peeling, cracking or blistering for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Not included in our "powder coat" warranty are table tops, umbrellas, terrace shells and market bases, wood furniture, cushions, slings and folding aluminum furniture. These products are warranted for one year to be free of manufacturing defects. Our steel market bases, if not properly maintained, will rust if the finish is scratched through to the metal. If this occurs, it must be touched up with an acrylic based paint.The wicker fiber featured in our Savona Wicker Collection is warranted by the fiber manufacturer for 3 years from the date of purchase. The natural weathering of wood finishes, breakage of glass, fading, staining and mildewing of fabrics, slings and strapping or the compression of cushion fillings and the rusting of market bases are not covered under warranty. This warranty does not cover the failure of furniture that, in Telescope's opinion, was caused by acts of God, accident, neglect, improper shipping or handling or by unreasonable or abusive use, and is void if our care and maintenance instructions were not properly followed. If within the Warranty Period you furniture fails structurally or if the finish cracks, peels, or blisters, Woodard LLC will, at their option, repair or replace the frame in the original color or style, or similar if discontinued. Woodard will also replace straps within three years and slings within one year if they break or pull loose from the frame.
